On January 26, Weiming Environment Protection officially signed the concession agreement for the Wenzhou Yongqiang Food Waste Treatment Project with the Wenzhou Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau. Vice President Xiang Pengyu signed the agreement on behalf of the company. The successful signing of this project further strengthens Weiming’s food waste treatment capabilities, bringing the total processing capacity of its invested, constructed, and operated food waste treatment projects to approximately 2,800 tons per day.
The Wenzhou Yongqiang Food Waste Treatment Project is designed to process 600 tons of food waste per day. The project is strategically located adjacent to Weiming’s Yongqiang Waste-to-Energy Plant, allowing for the shared use of steam, electricity, and wastewater treatment facilities to optimize resource allocation.
As a key waste classification and terminal treatment facility, this project will significantly enhance Wenzhou’s capacity for food and kitchen waste disposal. Weiming Environment Protection will deploy its best resources and continuously optimize technological solutions to develop this project into a benchmark for integrated municipal solid waste and food waste treatment. Additionally, alongside Weiming’s new environmental equipment manufacturing base currently under construction, the project will become a vital part of the high-end environmental industry park being developed around the Yongqiang Waste-to-Energy Plant.
